UNDERGRAD PROJECTS

2019-2023

FretHaus + The Gibson Challenge

Instrument manufacturer and music industry staple Gibson teamed up with Auburn University’s FretHaus to create “The Gibson Challenge.”

The goals: innovation, market research, and a renewal of the Gibson brand.

‘Play-Finding’ an Inclusive Playground System

Playcore, a leading playground and park design company, was looking for innovative solutions to make playgrounds more accessible and inclusive.

The subsequent design needed to be user centered, based in applicable research, and easily implemented.

Museum Dehumidifier Product Design

Museums, historical buildings, and art galleries are home to items and artifacts vulnerable to humidity, yet there are very few products on the market applicable to these spaces.

The new product design must be user centered, yet nearly invisible to patrons.

High Point Market Competition

  • An elective furniture design course is offered within Auburn University’s ID program. The class offers a more in depth look into the build and structure requirements of furniture design.

  • Through this course, we made 1/6th scale models of furniture we designed to then take to the High Point Market competition. There our final scale model is then displayed and judged.

  • Four student models are then chosen to be built in full scale and displayed in the following spring exhibition.

Sponsored Beverage Dispensing System

“Luxury furnishings for bars, cafés, and public venues”- This studio focused on health-code manufacturing requirements and brand style implementation.
